Pria Alpern, PhD

Psychologist

Dr. Alpern is a licensed clinical psychologist, an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist, and an EMDRIA-approved consultant. She is the founder of the Manhattan Center of Trauma Studies and director of Center Psychology Group in New York City, a psychotherapy practice that specializes in treating trauma within the adult and perinatal populations. Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Alpern creates mental health content providing psychoeducation and raising awareness about EMDR and trauma-informed psychotherapy on her Instagram and TikTok platforms.
