Topic: Fraser's Dissociative Table Technique

During this study group, we will explore Martin’s 2012 article on Fraser’s Dissociative Table Technique. The piece offers a clear, eight-step method for accessing and organizing emotional parts in complex trauma work, with practical scripts, cautions about timing, and a full case example. We’ll focus on how the table supports stabilization in trauma therapy and how clinicians can use it to negotiate, time-orient, and meaningfully engage internal systems.

Upon registration, participants will receive:

  • A detailed summary of the reading

  • A copy of: Martin, K. M. (2012). How to use Fraser’s Dissociative Table Technique to access and work with emotional parts of the personality. Journal of EMDR Practice and Research, 6(4), 179–185. https://doi.org/10.1891/1933-3196.6.4.179
